About
Quixote Lofts

Our Story
Quixote Lofts occupies the beautifully restored second floor of the historic Schwartz building in downtown Sumter. Built in the late 1800s by the Schwart brothers who were clothier and merchants; the lower level once served as their storefront, while their families lived above.
Today, original architectural details remain, including the original metal fire doors that once separated the living spaces and helped prevent the spread of fires. These historical elements lend character and authenticity to the building while honoring its past.
Our aspiration is to delight and indulge every guest as we blend southern charm with a fresh contemporary take on upscale hospitality.
